peer exchange

Connecting Local Government Peers

The CRO facilitates a variety of opportunities for local government leaders and staff to exchange, collaborate, and learn from their peers.

Peer Convenings:

We currently facilitate an every-other-month Wildfire Recovery Peer Exchange on the third Wednesday of the month, every other month from 12pm - 1pm. Bring your own lunch to this virtual meeting and any “hot topics” or “burning questions” you’d like to share. Previous peer exchange topics covered: Watershed Protection/Post-Fire Flood Hazard Mitigation, Debris Management, Pre- and Post-Wildfire Planning & Permitting Issues, and Alert & Warning Systems (especially for fires and post-fire floods).

To join the Wildfire Recovery Local Government Peer Exchange, please complete our brief Wildfire Peer Exchange Interest Form and a CRO staff member will get back to you:

Local Government Peer Exchange Portal:

The local government Peer Exchange Portal is a password-protected online forum for posting and replying to timely topics.

Access to the Peer Exchange Portal is reserved for Colorado Local Government Employees Only. We're limiting the audience to those who work directly in local government in order to foster an open dialogue among true peers. To request access to the Portal, please email Shayle Sabo from a government-affiliated email address and she will provide you with access information.
