Public Hearing for Marshall Fire Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery

Following the devastating Marshall fire on December 30, 2021, the State of Colorado received an initial congressional allocation of Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) in the amount of $7.415 million under the Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act 2022 to address recovery needs in the areas of housing, infrastructure, economic development, and resilience in response to the following presidentially-declared disaster DR-4634-CO. This public hearing on August 17, 2022, provided an overview of the Action Plan that details how funds will be allocated to address the remaining unmet needs in Boulder County and allow time for public comments.
